Grand Canyon Trip

Wow it's been a while! Things have been busy out here with the preparations for Nina's Baby Shower (in two weeks) and of course the arrival of Rebekah. A few weeks ago Nina and I met up with my Dad, Jeannie (his wife) and two of her children (Tommy and Rachel) and we went to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and Sedona. It was a great trip and we are really glad we got to show them the better side of the Grand Canyon (the South Rim is way too busy and touristy that you can't really see the true beauty of this canyon).

On the trip all of us, except for Nina (pregnant women are not allowed), got to take a mule ride. Jeannie, Rachel and I got to descend into the canyon and my Dad and Tommy got to go on a trail along the top of the canyon. I have ridden horses a lot but this was my first mule ride. We had a great time but boy my, hmmm, how should I say it? my donkey was hurting afterwards. :-)
