This week was an eventful week. On Tuesday I had an accident at work where I received electrical burns on my hand. I was unplugging our teams electrical golf cart when the wires underneath the main insulation shorted causing an arc that burned my right hand. Below are the pictures of the plug and my hand after it was bandaged up.
The good news is the main arc missed my hand but the radiated heat burned me. Luckily the nurse was able to treat me quickly and we are hoping to avoid any scarring so my dream of becoming a hand model is still alive :-)
I also did not have any current go through me so that was also a blessing. My injuries should remain minor.
On a brighter note, Nina and I got to see Julie (my youngest sister) and her husband Todd before they flew out of Phoenix on Thursday. They bought us a wonderful lunch at PF Changs in Scottsdale. We just wish their visit could have been longer.
After they left, Nina and I went to see our friend Dillon at the Hotel Indigo. We like to stay there when we have our little get away mini vacations. He just had a son a few months ago and it was great hanging out with him.
Nina is doing well as is Rebekah. 7 weeks to go. Well I have to get going. I just got off work and I need some food. We hope everything is well with you and you families!
